Ah! You are so so so so right. Prednisone ...Kelly,

Ah! You are so so so so right. Prednisone is evil, and when it is the only thing that works, I can't even enjoy feeling better, because I am worrying about all the ways in which I am damaging my body. I hate it. And I love your writing. Thank you so much for putting this out there for others to read.

EmmaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9042684989870334112.post-8364360360076121192011-07-18T12:03:12.015-04:002011-07-18T12:03:12.015-04:00I like reading your blog, but I don't comment ...I like reading your blog, but I don't comment very often. I like this post a lot though. I've dealt with my share of hospital visits and feeling like a pin cushion for needles and other medications.

I think it sucks a lot, being sick, but when I read things like this it makes me laugh because I know that there can be a happy face on illness. I am type 1 diabetic, so I get the insulin jabs all the time. :)

Keep writing, it's great!Jamiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07752600514684171417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9042684989870334112.post-56954948543861621162011-07-17T20:59:41.606-04:002011-07-17T20:59:41.606-04:00Thanks!Thanks!KPBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12376810607662968879noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9042684989870334112.post-23975026298489555242011-07-17T19:55:49.260-04:002011-07-17T19:55:49.260-04:00Kelly,

Secondly...they switched me off prednisone (as I was tapering) to Solumedrol ... I get it in an iv about every 2 weeks. It's just as 'great' as prednisone to manage my Lupus but it has nearly NONE of the side effects. I think my longest stint was 3 months. It's evil. I'm sorry you're having such a terrible time. I bet you're glad to be weaning off. Did they ever figure out what happened that you ended up in the hospital?Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15565037727323245906noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9042684989870334112.post-87304339897590094012011-07-16T08:52:17.234-04:002011-07-16T08:52:17.234-04:00Love this, Kell.Love this, Kell.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9042684989870334112.post-13362984050758347162011-07-16T08:19:37.108-04:002011-07-16T08:19:37.108-04:00I love that Willy Winka story, you told me on Twit...I love that Willy Winka story, you told me on Twitter once... ahahaBriannenoreply@blogger.com
